bit your tongue

ok. my parents, in particular my father, has been making some very interesting comments and complaints against myself and other family members. I find it sooo hard to bit my tongue and say nothing. im trying to lower my tension in my house hold. and thought i will be 18 ,three months to be exact, and none of it will matter, i say nothing except "ok". sucks for my mom though cuz she'll still be here when im gone.
